Materials Science and Engineering Graduates of the Last Decade

Building a community of materials engineering alumni.

MSE GOLD launched in October 2017 as a way to continue the established community that alumni had as students. This group is meant for reconnecting with friends, networking and sharing opportunities with other alumni, mentoring current students, and most of all, HAVING FUN!

Mentorship Program

Mentors are paired and meet with an undergrad via email, campus visits, and calls to:

  • Advise on professional and educational development, and career opportunities
  • Recruit students for future employment

Social Media

Share the opportunity to join with fellow materials engineering alumni, and help promote the Iowa State MSE community by sharing your involvement through social media. Use hashtags #mseGOLD and #MSEproud.
